Fortekor Flavour 2.5 mg helps control blood pressure and treat heart and kidney diseases in small pets. It contains the active ingredient Benazepril Hydrochloride, which belongs to the ACE inhibitor vasodilator drug class. It is manufactured by Elanco. This 2.5 mg formulation is specifically designed for dogs and cats weighing approximately 2.5–10 kilograms.

Approximate Dosage (administer once daily, with or without food)

Cats: The standard dosage is 0.5 mg per 1 kg of body weight.

• Cats weighing 2.5–5 kg: Give 1 tablet once daily.
  
• Cats weighing 5–10 kg: Give 2 tablets once daily.

Dogs: The minimum dosage is 0.25 mg per 1 kg of body weight.

• Dogs weighing 2.5–5 kg: Give 1/2 tablet once daily.
  
• Dogs weighing 5–10 kg: Give 1 tablet once daily.
